WoundZoom
To elevate wound measurement accuracy, Pinnacle is a proud partner of WoundZoom. WoundZoom's technology allows practitioners to produce a scan of the wound with length, width, and depth measurements calculated automatically. Other similar platforms require a green dot to be placed alongside the wound as reference for the depth measurement. Inconsistencies in the size of the dot provide potential for less accurate measurements. WoundZoom's proprietary technology is capable of producing a three-dimensional scan with no reference point. Their platform touts a much higher measurement accuracy than traditional methods due to its ability to scan and calculate uneven wound edges, eliminating the potential for human error. Not only does this track patient progress more thoroughly, it strongly supports the practitioner's documentation when submitting claims and is excellent audit support. WoundZoom also has top-notch analytics built into their platform. Wound healing summaries can be generated for the patient, POA, and appropriate treatment facilities with side-by-side pictures of healing progress. Wounds that have slowed down or begin to stall are flagged for our practitioners so that individualized clinical decisions can be made, providing our patients with tailored care based on their conditions. With the in-depth insights that are provided for wound treatment and progress tracking, WoundZoom keeps Pinnacle and its affiliated practitioners at the top of our game when it comes to Medicare compliance.
